Description
Texas Partners Federal Credit Union seeks an experienced financial professional to join our team at our newest location in the new Walmart store in Temple. In the position of Member Services Representative/Teller (In-Store/Retail), we are looking for individuals who can;
  • Build customer relationships that embody Texas Partners mission to provide personalized and quality services standard by providing value added products and services to nonmembers.
  • Grow business through in store marketing and in aisle prospecting of employees/patrons of the retail partner
  • Deliver outstanding service to our members and employees/patrons of our retail partner
  • Build member loyalty by processing member transactions, accurately and efficiently
  • Display intensity, excitement and optimism of team and members
The ideal candidate has a significant track record of success in the following areas:
  • Demonstrated performance as a successful team player with an ability to establish credibility quickly with peers and members.
  • Demonstrated sales and service success
  • Proven cash handling skills and the ability to drive results through effective deliver of products and services to members and employees/patrons of the retail partner
  • Expert knowledge of a wide range of consumer products including savings, checking, home equity, mortgage, etc.
  • Knowledge of consumer and business financial industry concepts, products, policies and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, switching gears frequently while juggling multiple priorities
  • A self-starter with great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to derive solutions
  • Promotes the credit union difference

Qualified candidates should have six months experience in a sales/service role within the financial services industry or other types of retail businesses.  The candidate must be someone who is recognized as a high energy, flexible individual who consistently exceeds goals.  This person must also have knowledge of how the financial market impacts the financial services industry and excel at representing credit union products.  Minimal travel amongst branches may be required.           
 
 This position reports to the Temple Branch Manager and works closely with all credit union staff.
